About Us

We are a 501c-3 non-profit, founded and led by Black, queer, womxn community activists with deep roots and proven track records of service to Holyoke and surrounding communities, The Ethnic Study is uniquely responsive to the needs of the community it serves.

The Ethnic Study (TES) cultivates a collaborative, reliable and responsive space and provides resources for local creatives of marginalized identities and experiences (BIPOC, youth, differently abled persons, migrant and first generation, and resource deprived). TES lives our mission each day. The foundation of The Ethnic Study is networking and celebrating multimedia and specialist arts for self-actualization and community vibrancy.
